SCARA is non-profit animal rescue organization that is committed to protect the welfare and well-being of animals, ensuring full and sustainable sanctuary is given to them in human care.
It is our view that action to take full and proper account of animal protection in our constitution is long overdue. Animal protection is an important ethical and political question governed by internationally agreed standards commanding major public support, and we feel that the time to rectify this omission is long overdue.
